lyrics
by the abandoned huts, up on a barren shore
black grains and limestone meet, still burning underneath
bearing a rizzared face, a horde of weary men
humming a hopeless prayer for rain to come again
there's a favonian scent, remnant of northern winds
horizon drops a veil upon the highest cliff
where from a cave I stand and watch the changing forms
and as the sunset comes, I witness perfect storms
I remain to be unseen
I remain to be unseen
come and rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall
come rise from the sea and fall

By far I'd say this is the best album I've listened to in the last 5 years. Each song has its own story to tell whilst definitely getting stuck in your head. 11/10 Guys keep up the good work 🤙 (also great to listen to whilst high or on acid) tpm55

As a Frenchman, I discovered VIC very late (2019-2020). I fell in love with Age Of Aquarius. Well, I have to say: I love Riza even more.
If you love Greece (I've been there 4 times), you'll love VIC: a rock marked by traditional Greek music and instruments. Slasher ✨
Kansas City trio Flooding draw out the more mystical qualities of slowcore and noise rock for a heavy sound that's less stony than doom. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2023

How lucky of me to find this band, and what a shame it took them 8 albums for me to find them. In particular, I love the swagger/frivolity of their playing.
Also the delicacy of the guitarist on some tracks (reminds of Stone Rebel at times)
Fav track: I am the beyonder ooijerm
