lyrics
In the reefs I left your heart girl
In the reefs I felt you so
saw you dancing by the moonlight
glowing back
and the moon shines on the trail end
by desert fires
I saw places from a season
when I got you hypnotised
as I travelled from the mountains
took me years to find the shores
and discover the foundations
'for I knock up on your doors
I saw people chased like outlaws
I saw tearful children's eyes
all they asked for was a shelter
from the cruelty of times
in the days after the rampage
she took my hand and said "let's hide"
to a city in the ocean bed
thriving deep below the tide
I remember being born there
but my memories all dry
(she) put a gun under my pillow
for the king that had to die
in the reefs where waves are breaking
in those reefs you crushed me whole
when I found my way and showed up
in the lands that you control
now these highway patrol men
see me riding up to north
once again I play the drifter

By far I'd say this is the best album I've listened to in the last 5 years. Each song has its own story to tell whilst definitely getting stuck in your head. 11/10 Guys keep up the good work 🤙 (also great to listen to whilst high or on acid) tpm55

As a Frenchman, I discovered VIC very late (2019-2020). I fell in love with Age Of Aquarius. Well, I have to say: I love Riza even more.
If you love Greece (I've been there 4 times), you'll love VIC: a rock marked by traditional Greek music and instruments. Slasher ✨
Kansas City trio Flooding draw out the more mystical qualities of slowcore and noise rock for a heavy sound that's less stony than doom. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2023

How lucky of me to find this band, and what a shame it took them 8 albums for me to find them. In particular, I love the swagger/frivolity of their playing.
Also the delicacy of the guitarist on some tracks (reminds of Stone Rebel at times)
Fav track: I am the beyonder ooijerm
